Sou Miyake

Sou Miyake, PhD, is an accomplished professional with a robust background in venture investment and business development, currently serving as Head of Venture Investment and Director of Investment & Business Development at Corundum Systems Biology since August 2021. Previous experience includes a role in life science consulting at L.E.K. Consulting, focusing on strategy, M&A, and market entry from 2019 to 2021, and cross-border business development at Shopee in Japan from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Sou served as a Research Fellow at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, specializing in microbiome research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from KAUST, a Master's in Marine Science and Engineering from the same institution, a BSci in Geology and Biology from the University of Bristol, and a Postgraduate Summer Internship in Microbial Ecology at the University of Konstanz.
