Norma Garcia Torra

Norma Garcia Torra has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in finance and auditing. Norma started their career as an Administrative Specialist Trainee at Grupo Julià in February 2015, where they handled routine administrative tasks and invoicing. In November 2015, they moved on to become an Audit Analyst at Grupo Hotusa, ensuring compliance with laws and statutes, managing pricing, and participating in tax reports. Norma then returned to Grupo Julià in April 2016 as a Prepayment Account Controller, responsible for invoicing, accountancy, and resolving client inquiries. In September 2017, they joined Catalonia Hotels & Resorts as an Internal Auditor, focusing on SOX compliance, following up on audit recommendations, and ensuring the reliability of financial and operational information. In March 2021, they joined Beabloo as a Finance Accountant, where their responsibilities included tracking payments, reconciling entries, and verifying employee expenses reports. Currently, they work at Corus as a Finance Accountant starting in March 2022.

Norma Garcia Torra completed a postgraduate degree in Financial Management from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in the years 2017 to 2018. Before that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 2011 to 2017.
