Oscar Barro Guizán

Oscar Barro Guizán has had work experience in two companies. Oscar started their career at EnergyLab Technology Center in 2014 as an Industrial Engineer intern. In this role, they were responsible for characterizing and achieving energy demanding patterns in buildings. Additionally, they designed and developed automated tools for analysis, calculation, management, and data processing.

In 2016, they joined Corus Fegoba as a Technical Area Assistant. Oscar held this position until 2018, where they supported the R&D department. In 2019, they were promoted to Head of the R&D department, a role that they currently hold.

Overall, Oscar Barro Guizán has demonstrated expertise in energy analysis, data processing, and management, gaining experience and progressing in their career from an intern to a leadership role in the R&D department.

Oscar Barro Guizán pursued their education at Universidade de Vigo. From 2010 to 2014, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from 2014 to 2016. Oscar further expanded their knowledge by enrolling in the Doctoral Program in Research in Advanced Technologies and Processes in Industry at Universidade de Vigo from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Oscar Barro Guizán also obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (Council of Europe Level C1) from the University of Cambridge in July 2015.
