Chris Fairclough

Chris Fairclough has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales, marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement. In 2004, they worked as an Account Manager at Cowie and Fox until 2005 when they became a Marketing Communications Consultant. From 2008 to 2015, Chris held the position of Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist at BCLC, where they contributed to the company's corporate reputation and provided marketing and communications counsel. Chris then became the Sponsorship & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, responsible for stakeholder programs and reputation management. In 2020, Chris was promoted to the role of Director of Social Purpose, Community & Stakeholder Engagement at BCLC. Currently, they are the Director of Sales for BC at Corus Entertainment, a position they started in 2023.

Chris Fairclough attended the UBC Sauder School of Business from 2017 to 2019, where they completed the Business Leadership Program. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA degree in Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2007. Additionally, from 2002 to 2005, they earned a Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management Business Communications from the same institution.
