Doug Spence

Doug Spence has extensive work experience in finance and corporate development. Doug began their career at Barclays Capital as a Manager in Investment Banking. Doug joined Corus Entertainment in 2006 and assumed various roles, including Director of Planning & Analysis, Director of Distribution Strategy & Analysis, and Director of Corporate Development. In these roles, they managed mergers and acquisitions, executed investment strategies, and led the integration of acquired companies. Doug also held the positions of VP of Corporate Development and VP of Finance, Planning & Analysis at Corus Entertainment, where they played a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. Doug represented Corus at CRTC Hearings and managed a team of employees.

Doug Spence completed an MBA degree at London Business School from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in English and Philosophy from Western University, which they attended from 1993 to 1997.
