Katina Sommers is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in managing programs focused on neglected tropical diseases, Ebola preparedness, and emergency response initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Program Support for Corus International and NTD Technical Program Director, Katina has previously held leadership positions at The END Fund, Oriole Global Health, and Concern Worldwide, where responsibilities included program design, stakeholder engagement, budget management, and monitoring and evaluation. Noteworthy achievements include significant improvements in the Trachoma Control Program during tenure at The Carter Center, and impactful research roles at organizations such as The Fred Hollows Foundation and the United Nations Population Fund. Katina holds a Master of Science in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
