Peter Bishop, CPA, P. Eng has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades. Peter currently serves as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Corus Orthodontists, a rapidly growing orthodontic partnership with multiple practices in Canada and the U.S. Prior to this, Peter was the VP Finance at GreenFirst Forest Products, where they successfully executed a carve-out transaction to establish the company and set up its corporate office. This involved overseeing various departments such as HR, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and IT to support a $500M corporation.

Before joining GreenFirst Forest Products, Peter held several key roles at Torstar Corporation, including VP Finance, VP Community Brands at the Metroland Media Group, Chief Financial Officer at Star Media Group, and Director of Operations Effectiveness. Peter was responsible for overseeing financial operations and driving organizational improvements.

From 2001 to 2005, Peter held various technology executive roles in different organizations, contributing to their growth and success. Prior to that, they worked at Dell as the General Manager for China - Home & Small Business and as the Director of Marketing for Canada.

Peter's early career includes managerial and consultant roles at Bain & Company. Peter worked as a Manager and Consultant, providing strategic guidance and helped businesses solve complex problems. Additionally, they began their career as a Development Engineer at Cadence Computer Corporation, formerly known as Kinaxis.

Peter Bishop, CPA, P. Eng holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Ivey Business School at Western University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering from Carleton University between 1988 and 1992. Peter also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Systems & Computer Engineering from Carleton University from 1984 to 1988.

In addition to their academic achievements, Peter Bishop has obtained professional certifications. Peter is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) granted by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) in 1997. Moreover, they are a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by Professional Engineers Ontario in 1991.
