Marshall Humphries has been in the software engineering industry since 1997. Marshall began their career as the Multimedia Center Coordinator at UH Hawaii English Language Program, followed by a position as Program Coordinator at Intercultural Communications College (ICC Hawaii). In 1999, they moved to Computer Task Group as a Technical Writer, where they wrote online help, API manuals, and message guides for enterprise storage management software. From 2000-2020, they worked at IBM in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Customer Application Engineer, and Staff Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined Acoustic as a Senior Frontend Developer and in 2021, they moved to Corvia as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer.
Marshall Humphries obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General from The University of Alabama between 1990 and 1994. Marshall then went on to receive a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English as a Second Language from the University of Hawaii at Manoa between 1996 and 1999. In 2015, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
