Charles R. Bridges is the EVP & Chief Scientific Officer at Corvista Health. Charles was previously the Chief Technology Officer, Pulmonary Hypertension Therapeutic Area at Johnson and Johnson from January 2018 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for establishing, developing and leading the global organizational and functional capabilities with regard to the application of novel devices and technologies for the prognosis, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of pulmonary hypertension.

Charles Bridges has worked in the medical field for many years. Charles received their MD and ScD from the University of Pennsylvania and has since gone on to co-found CardioMyogen, an early stage biotechnology company. Charles has received more than $10M in NIH funding and has over 150 peer-reviewed publications.

Charles R. Bridges studied at Harvard University, where they obtained an AB in Engineering and Applied Physics. Charles then went on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they earned an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a Sc.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. After completing their formal education, Dr. Bridges became certified from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
