Sonja Vernøy Hansen

Sonja Vernøy Hansen currently serves as a Board Member for the Maritime Battery Forum and holds the position of VP Marketing & Communication at Corvus Energy, where also serves as a Director on the Board. Previously, Sonja was a member of the Maritime21 strategy group for the Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet, focusing on the development of a maritime strategy for Norway. Sonja has extensive experience in local governance as an elected member of the Os Municipality Council and has held multiple marketing roles at various organizations, including International Marketing Manager at itslearning AS and Head of Marketing at PALFINGER MARINE NORWAY AS. Sonja's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from BI Norwegian Business School and a secondary education from Os Gymnas.
