Chris Gibson has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Chris started their career at Woolworths Limited in 2002 as a Service Manager, and then moved on to Staples Australia Pty Limited in 2006 as a Furniture Account Manager. In 2011, they joined Thiess as a Crane Operator/Safety Coordinator before transitioning to COS in 2012. At COS, they worked their way up from National Account Director to Head of Sales - Market Offers. Alongside their corporate roles, Chris also had a distinguished career in the Australian Air Force Cadets where they held various leadership positions, including Commanding Officer and Wing Warrant Officer.

Chris Gibson obtained a Higher School Certificate from McCarthy Catholic College in 2003. In 2003, they also completed a CERT IV Workplace Training and Assessment from Impact Training. In 2011, Chris completed a CERT IV OHS (Workplace OHS) from Health Services International. Lastly, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Diploma in Business Administration, Management and Operations from TAFE NSW.
