Josh Sarver

VP, Exhibits & Programs at COSI

Mr. Sarver is the Vice President of Exhibits & Programs. He is

responsible for supporting COSI’s mission by ensuring excellence in the

development and production of educational, attractive and functional

guest experiences by managing the development process and technical

direction for the research, design, development, production, fabrication

and evaluation of new experiences, additions to the permanent

exhibition base, traveling exhibition and other permanent and temporary

experiences. His team is also accountable for onsite programming

including live shows, hands-on activities, and demonstrations. In

addition, his responsibilities include oversight of the facilities, the COSI

Science Festival, and volunteer experiences.

Included within these responsibilities is leading the ongoing project

management, design, development, and review of educational

experiences, content, and presentation, as well as, coordinating with

other work groups to review details of new experience concepts,

designs, and content.

Since joining the COSI Team in 2003, Mr. Sarver has served in leadership

roles within a variety of areas, as well as teaching roles for outreach,

membership, and public programs.

Mr. Sarver holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree

in secondary education from The Ohio State University, a certification

in informal education from Oregon State University, and certifications

for project management from Fischer College of Business. Outside of

his professional experience, he is an assistant coach for youth football, scout master, and proudly holds the title of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America.
