Alvin Kumarga

Alvin Kumarga has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alvin is currently the Co-Founder of Cosmart, a technology startup that focuses on helping users save time, money, and mental burden in making recurring expenditures. Prior to this, they worked at Traveloka, a lifestyle superapp, where they held various positions including SVP of Financial Products and Services. In this role, Alvin played a key role in pioneering the Buy Now Pay Later product in Indonesia, growing it into a $300 million business within two years. Alvin also developed innovative products and built relationships with partners in major financial institutions and regulatory bodies. Before Traveloka, Alvin was an Entrepreneur at Airy Rooms and held positions at The Boston Consulting Group and Stroud Consulting, where they gained experience in management consulting and advised clients on operations and improvement strategies. Alvin also worked as a Special Projects Consultant and Marketing and Research Intern at Hybrid Silica Technologies, Inc., focusing on nanostructured silica materials. Alvin's early career includes a sales and inventory analyst role at Pt. Eonchemicals Putra, where they implemented a new ordering procedure that reduced total inventory by $150,000. Overall, Alvin has a strong track record of driving results, building teams, and developing innovative products and solutions.

Alvin Kumarga attended Raffles Institution from 2006 to 2007, where they pursued A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics. Alvin then enrolled in Cornell University from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Minor in Business during their time at Cornell University.
