Jean-Luc Ansel is a prominent figure in the perfumery and cosmetics industry, serving as the founder and President of Cosmétopée Consulting since January 2020. Ansel also holds the position of founding vice president and CEO at Cosmetic Valley, which has been a leading center for resources in this sector since its establishment in 1994 with the support of Jean-Paul Guerlain. Ansel's educational background includes a Research Doctorate from Université de la Polynésie Française and engineering studies at Ecole Supérieure du Bois, as well as diplomas from the Institut de Contrôle de Gestion.
