Simon Chan

Simon Chan has a diverse work experience in product development and design. Simon started their career at J. Roger Preston Ltd. as an Engineering Assistant in 2006. Simon then worked at Ka Wah Plastic Industrial Co. as a Product Designer, where they designed new products, resolved design issues, and developed products for OEM customers. Simon then joined H&Y Industrial Ltd. as a Product Designer and later became a Senior Product Designer leading the in-house design team. Simon was responsible for developing various products, including iPhone/iPad accessories and laptop/camera cases. In 2011, Simon joined COSMO as a Senior Product Development Engineer and eventually progressed to roles such as Product Development Manager, Senior Product Development Manager, Associate Director of Product Development, and Director of Product Development. At COSMO, they managed the soft good development lab, led the in-house research and development, and played a crucial role in driving innovation and sustainability in product solutions. Simon also led the NPI Product Development team and served clients like Apple, Blackberry, and HP, where they designed highly engineered soft good products and managed cross-functional teams. Throughout their career, Simon demonstrated expertise in product development, design, and project management.

Simon Chan completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Product Analysis with Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to that, they earned a High Diploma in Computer Aided Engineering Design from the same university. Simon's education journey started with a Diploma in Software Engineering from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.
