Amélie Véron has a diverse work experience. Amélie began their career in 2008 as a Post-Doc in Evolutionary Bioinformatics at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. In 2010, they moved to Centre Léon Bérard as a Post-Doc in Genetic Epidemiology. In 2011, they started their own photography business, Callibella, where they focus on children, families, couples and weddings. In 2013, they became a Visiting Scientist at the European Institute for Systems Biology and Medicine, as well as a Scientific Project Manager - Modeler at The CoSMo Company. Finally, in 2016, they began working at Cosmo Tech as a Project Manager and Pilot to Product Transfer Manager.
Amélie Véron began their education in 1998 at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they earned a Master's degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology in 2004. From 2001 to 2002, they took a break from their studies to study at the University of Technology Sydney. In 2004, they began their PhD in Evolutionary Bioinformatics at the University of Mönster and in 2005, they took a break from their studies to be a Visiting PhD Student at The University of Manchester. In 2007, they attended the Santa Fe Institute for the Santa Fe Complex Systems Summer School.
