Noah Appel has an extensive work experience in the tech industry. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Instructor at General Assembly. In 2015, they also worked as a Software Engineer at LifeLock, where their team was acquired to refresh the consumer facing applications. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Frontend/Lead Web Engineer at Gigster, leading remote engineering teams and working closely with clients. During this time, they also worked as a Frontend Web Engineer at Playlist. In 2017, Noah co-founded and launched Zinguist, a language learning platform, where they served as the CTO and co-founder. Noah architected and developed the initial MVP of the mobile app and helped secure angel funding. In 2018, they joined Flylancer as the CTO, shaping the future of work for everyone by building a founding team and developing a roadmap of products and features. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at The Wall Street Journal. In 2019, they became the Director of Engineering at INTURN and held that position until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Skillshare. Currently, Noah Appel is serving as the Head of Engineering at Cosmos, a mindful curation platform for creatives.
Noah Appel earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music from 2006 to 2010. Noah later pursued Back End Web Development at General Assembly, although the specific years are unknown.
