Matt Bingaman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Matt is currently working as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Cosmos Corporation since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Continuous Improvement at Emerson from October 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they project managed a $5.0M Powder Paint System design and installation and achieved a 18% manufacturing footprint reduction through system layout planning.

Before their role at Emerson, from February 2016 to September 2018, Matt worked as the Division Perfect Execution Manager at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions. In this position, they facilitated value chain Kaizen events, led the Hermetic Motor Strategic Priority team, and drove Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to improve inventory velocity and reduce complexity.

Matt's previous work experience also includes roles at Emerson, where they worked as the Division Manager Perf(x) from January 2013 to January 2016, Senior Application Developer from April 2011 to December 2012, and Application Engineer from May 2005 to April 2011. Matt also worked as a Design Build Assistant Engineer at Murphy Company from April 2001 to January 2002.

Matt Bingaman completed their education at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Matt earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2000 to 2005. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from 2008 to 2011.
