Patrick Ramos

Patrick Ramos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the pharmaceutical, energy, and airline industries. In their current role as the Head of Finance at Cosmos Limited, they provide strong leadership in finance, managing budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, treasury, taxation, and statutory compliance. Prior to this, they worked at Sanofi as the Director & Head of Finance for the East Africa Hub, overseeing the finance function in the region and managing key responsibilities in financial planning, analysis, reporting, controlling, and internal control processes. Before that, Patrick held various roles at Total Kenya Ltd., including Commercial Business Partner & Analyst, Financial Reporting and Controlling Accountant, Credit Controller, and Assistant Accountant. Patrick also had a brief trainee position at Kenya Airways.

Patrick Ramos has a diverse education history. In 2003 to 2007, they attended the University of Nairobi and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Finance. Patrick further pursued their education at the same university from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.

Continuing their educational journey, Patrick attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2014 to 2021, where they pursued a Master's degree in Economics (Msc Economics).

To further enhance their skills and knowledge, Patrick completed additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). In 2020, they also completed the Excel skills for Business certification from Macquarie University.

In 2023, Patrick enrolled in Harvard Business School Online and studied Organizational Leadership, although specific details regarding the field of study are not provided.
