Benjamin Briggs has had a long and varied career in the medical field. Benjamin began in 2001 as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester. In 2004, they held the same role at both Cornell University and the University of Rochester. From 2005 to 2012, they were a Medical Student and Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, followed by a Resident Physician at Rush University Medical Center from 2012 to 2016. Benjamin then moved to UCSF Medical Center, where they held the roles of Physician and Fellow Physician from 2016 to 2018. After that, they were a Clinical Advisor at CloudCath from 2018 to 2021, and then a Chief Medical Officer at CosmosID from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Benjamin Briggs attended Cornell University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Benjamin then attended the University at Buffalo from 2005 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Virology.
