Sean Lavis P.g. Dip

Sean Lavis has over 15 years of work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Sean is currently the Global Head of Fuel for Growth at Costa Coffee, where they oversee the development of the Fuel For Growth Programme and the redevelopment of reporting systems. Prior to this role, Sean was a Senior Property Procurement Manager at Costa Coffee, responsible for the needs of new build and store renewal projects. Before joining Costa Coffee, Sean worked at Whitbread as a Senior Procurement Manager, leading high-performing category teams and implementing strategic plans for Logistics, Fleet, Utilities, and other categories. Sean also led projects to obtain a self-supply license for water and to secure 100% renewable energy for the company. Additionally, Sean has held procurement roles at United Utilities, Veolia, BRITVIC PLC, Coca-Cola European Partners, Enterprise Plc, and Trading Partners. During their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills, and has delivered strategic initiatives that have provided competitive advantages for the organizations they have worked for. Sean has a P.G. Dip, MBA, and MCIPS qualifications.

Sean Lavis has a strong education background in business administration, management, logistics, and supply chain management. Sean obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Gloucestershire in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the same university. In 1998, Sean earned a BA (Hons) degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (MCIPS Accredited) from Northumbria University. Additionally, they hold a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance from the University of Gloucestershire. Sean has also completed a Certificate in Transport (CPC National and International Freight Management License) from the Royal British Legion College, specializing in transport management. Sean is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) and has obtained PRINCE2® 2009 certifications from The Prince2 Academy.
