Gakeem Davids has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2018, they worked for Hospitality Solutions Company (HSC) as a waiter, Chef de partie, and a host, depending on the client's needs. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Food & Beverage Service Agent at Hilton Hotels & Resorts, where they assisted in F&B operations and also worked as a switchboard operator. In 2021, they were a Sales Development Representative at Upskillist, focusing on e-learning, where they maintained data integrity and corresponded with students via email and phone. Currently, since 2022, they are a Business Development Representative at CostCertified, building knowledge around construction estimating processes and generating interest in the program through inbound and outbound calls.

From 2018 to 2019, Gakeem Davids attended False Bay TVET College, where they pursued a degree in Hospitality and Catering Services at NQF Level 6.
