Martin Sookael

Martin Sookael is an experienced entrepreneur and CEO, currently leading CostPocket, a company dedicated to optimizing the receipt management process for both clients and accountants since March 2016. Initially known as Chief Financial Wizard, CostPocket emerged after winning the Garage48 FinTech hackathon in March 2014. Prior to this, Sookael co-founded and served as CEO of Municipality Tools from October 2011 to April 2014, where efforts included team building and launching the project, which later pivoted to Meie Tallinn. Sookael also co-founded Community Tools in January 2010, providing free online community management tools. Additional roles include Director and Project Manager for Cabaret Interruptus, a collaborative Estonian poetry and music event from 2009 to 2011, as well as managerial positions in website development at Estravel AS and marketing at New Balance Baltics. Sookael's educational background includes studies at ESG.
