Mark Searle

Mark Searle has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark is currently the Director of Product Management at Cosworth since 2022. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at HARMAN International, including Director of Automotive AI from 2018 to 2022 and VP of Development from 2015 to 2018. Mark also had significant roles at Symphony Teleca, where they served as VP of Development from 2012 to 2018, Head of Research and Development in 2012, Head of Product Development from 2011 to 2012, and Head of Engineering from 2006 to 2011. Before their time at Symphony Teleca, they worked as the CTO at Maxathon from 2005 to 2006 and as the CEO at INSIG from 2000 to 2006. Mark began their career at University College London as a Principal Research Fellow from 1998 to 2000 and as the Director of the Integrated Graduate Development Program from 1996 to 1998. Mark was also a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University from 1993 to 1996 and a Research Fellow at the University of Wales, Bangor from 1989 to 1993.

Mark Searle attended Strand Grammar School from 1975 to 1980, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study during this time. Mark then pursued higher education at The University of Manchester from 1982 to 1989, where they earned a BSC, MSC, and PhD in Electronics and Computer Science.
