Igor Verstovšek

Igor Verstovšek has extensive experience in management and engineering within the technology sector, notably at Cosylab since 2001, where responsibilities have included roles such as Deputy CEO, COO, and Acting Department Head for Products, alongside project management for notable clients in the accelerator and astronomy fields. Igor co-founded Cosylab, managing aspects of the company with a focus on technical leadership and customer relations. Prior experience includes serving on the supervisory board of Evolve d.o.o. and a membership with the Business Angels of Slovenia. Education includes an MBA from IEDC - Bled School of Management and a B.Sc. in Mathematical Physics from the University of Ljubljana. Igor’s early career involved work as a software engineer at the Jozef Stefan Institute, developing applications for the ANKA synchrotron light source.
