Jake Swanson

Jake Swanson is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently working in Completions at Coterra Energy since April 2018, following the merger of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and Cimarex Energy. Prior to this role, Jake held the position of Senior Completions Foreman at Chesapeake Energy from 2009 to 2018, where responsibilities included supervising contract consultants and acting as Completions Superintendent. Jake began a distinguished career in the US Navy, serving as an Electrical Division & Work Control Division Officer overseeing nuclear power plant operations and leading a team of electricians, after previously serving as Assistant Operations Officer. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, complemented by specialized training at the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School.
