Eli (Erol) Hallufgil

Eli (Erol) Hallufgil has a strong background in research and development, software architecture, and team leadership. Eli (Erol) is currently serving as the Vice President of Research and Development at COTI Group, where they have been since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Software Architect and Tech Team Leader at COTI Group from November 2017 to January 2022. In this position, Eli was responsible for co-authoring the Coti Whitepaper, creating the Source Selection Algorithm and Trust Chain Consensus, and managing the Base Protocol Project. Eli (Erol) also contributed to the development of the Coti Cryptocurrency. Eli also worked as the CTO at Kidon from January 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, they have experience as a Developers Team Leader at TechChain Solutions from June 2015 to February 2018. In this role, Eli was involved in building CRM using PHP-based frameworks and JavaScript, developing Restful APIs using PHP with CodeIgniter and Lumen frameworks, and working with Node.js and Express.js and Sails.js.

Eli (Erol) Hallufgil completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Istanbul Technical University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Eli (Erol) further pursued their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, graduating in 2007.
