Matt Nichol

Matt Nichol is a Senior Project Officer at Cotswold Archaeology, with a career spanning significant roles in both public and private sectors since 1999. Responsibilities include managing large-scale archaeological projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained, and meeting project deadlines and budgets. Noteworthy achievements include participation in the Danebury Environs Project with Professor Sir Barry Cunliffe CBE, uncovering the Boxford Mosaic, and overseeing excavations at Operation Nightingale. Matt Nichol holds a PGCert in Forensic Investigation from Cranfield University, a Bachelor's Degree in Archaeological Practice from the University of Winchester, and an HNC in Field Archaeology from Salisbury College/Bournemouth University.
