Jason Schelert

Jason Schelert is a seasoned cybersecurity and information technology professional with extensive experience in security operations and incident response management. Currently serving as the Manager of Security Operations and Threat Management at Cottage Health since April 2021, Jason implemented baseline security metrics based on NIST standards to enhance organizational performance. Previously, Jason held the position of Director of Incident Response & Threat Intelligence at CommonSpirit Health, overseeing the Cyber Security Operations Center and guiding a team of analysts while creating essential dashboards and metrics. Jason's early career included roles such as Cyber Security Engineer, Network Administrator, and System Administrator across various organizations, with a strong focus on incident handling, network management, and compliance. Jason holds a Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University.
