Julie Morgan

Julie Morgan currently serves as the Regional Practice Manager for Cottage Health in Santa Barbara and has held the position of Organizational Development Consultant since February 2016. Julie's focus on excellence, integrity, and compassion guides roles at Cottage Health, particularly in new employee orientation, drawing on adult learning theory and best practices. Previously, Julie contributed as an Online Facilitator at the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2020, teaching various leadership and management courses. As a Teacher Lecturer for Queens Academic Group in 2015, Julie developed and delivered courses for international students, emphasizing adult learning techniques. Julie was also the Owner of Thrive Consulting from 1998 to 2012, providing consulting services to small businesses and healthcare practices. Earlier in career at Santa Barbara Medical Foundation Clinic, Julie served as Director of Revenue Cycle, achieving significant improvements in accounts receivable and employee retention. Julie holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in HR from Antioch University Santa Barbara, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same institution.
