Poonam Y has a diverse work experience spanning over the past decade. Poonam began their career as a Dy Manager of Operations at Bharat Integrated Social Welfare Agency, where they oversaw the implementation of various microfinance and development projects. Poonam then moved on to Jaipur Rugs Foundation, where they worked as a Manager Project, focusing on proposal writing and implementing skill development projects in the carpet weaving industry. Poonam later joined the National Skill Foundation of India as a Consultant before transitioning to FINO PayTech Limited as a Cluster Head, responsible for managing a project involving the disbursement of payments to milk pourer members. Poonam then became a Senior HR Manager at GEOSANSAR ADVISORS PVT LTD, where they handled manpower budgeting and recruitment, learning and development, and employee engagement. Following that, they worked as an Area Manager at SWADHAAR INFORMATION AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES PVT LTD, overseeing the business and customer growth of multiple branches. Poonam also had a role as a Key Account Manager at Oxigen. Currently, they are working at CottonConnect as a Program Manager, responsible for farm services, including capacity building, implementation of standard operating procedures, and managing sustainable cotton programs in Gujarat. Overall, Poonam Y has a strong background in project management, operations, and HR, with a focus on social welfare and skill development.

Poonam Y's education history begins with their enrollment at Agri Anand Agriculture University from 2002 to 2006. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, and Social Science.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Poonam Y went on to join KSRM from 2007 to 2009. Here, they pursued an MBA in Rural Management, specializing in Microfinance and Agribusiness Management.
