Lourdes Sanchez Aparicio

Lourdes Sanchez Aparicio is a sustainability expert currently serving as Senior Manager of R&D Sustainability at Coty since January 2023, where responsibilities include defining and implementing sustainable processes and strategies. Prior to this role, Lourdes worked at the International Institute for Sustainable Development for nearly seven years in various senior policy advisory capacities focused on renewables and Indonesian policies. As a co-founder of the award-winning start-up MySollars.com, Lourdes incentivized consumers to compensate for their CO2 footprints from 2011 to 2020 and contributed as an Energy Consultant and Business Developer in identifying investment opportunities in decentralized energy generation. Earlier experience includes product management at SIG, coordinating S&OP processes at Procter & Gamble, and managing manufacturing projects. Lourdes holds multiple MBA degrees in Energy Management from ESCP Business School, BI Norwegian Business School, and IFP School, alongside engineering degrees from Paderborn University and Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
