Nigel Matthews

Nigel Matthews is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director at Couch Consulting Engineers Ltd since November 2021, Nigel previously held the position of Director Designate at PEP Civil & Structures Ltd from May 2005 until November 2021, where Nigel advanced from Associate to Director Designate in December 2009. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Engineer at Glanville Associates and Associate at J C Sturrock, along with earlier experience as an Engineer at Jenkins and Potter. Nigel holds a BEng degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, acquired between 1984 and 1988, and achieved the status of Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2019.
