Hugo Gerritsen

Hugo Gerritsen has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Coulisse, where they were responsible for global leadership in Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Hugo also drove IT & Digital Transformation and focused on strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Prior to that, they served as the Commercial Director of the Components division at Coulisse, where they improved processes and digitized operations for a better customer experience. Hugo also worked as a Business Developer and Information Manager at Coulisse, where they set up the Information Management department and optimized processes, data quality, and implemented new technologies.

Before their time at Coulisse, they worked as a Project Manager and an On-call Employee with various responsibilities, such as warehouse management and project assistance. Hugo also completed an internship at Coulisse, where they assisted in developing and implementing a new product.

Additionally, Hugo Gerritsen has experience as the Co-owner & IT Advisor at Mount Data, a data consultancy startup, where they provided active advice and support. Hugo is also the Owner of Proxus Digital, and has worked as a ShoppingTomorrow-expert, focusing on drivers of B2B E-commerce Growth.

Hugo Gerritsen holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business Administration from the University of Twente, which they completed from 2014 to 2018. Hugo then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management at Nyenrode Business University from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their university education, they completed their VWO diploma in Economie & Maatschappij from Pius X College between 2007 and 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications in EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation and EXIN Business Information Management Foundation in 2019.
