Jennifer Wright

Jennifer is thrilled to call Tallahassee her new home as the Director of Opening Nights at Florida State University. As a native Texan, she is thrilled to be a part of a thriving cultural scene in the Capital city.

Prior to coming to Tallahassee, Jennifer served the Angelina Arts Alliance in Lufkin, TX for over five years as its Executive Director. She lived in Aspen, CO for a short while and served Theatre Aspen in a marketing capacity. In Wichita, KS, Jennifer worked for the Orpheum Theatre as its Director of Marketing and then served as its President for seven years.

With more than 13 years of arts administration, marketing, fundraising and performing arts programming experience, Jennifer brings a genuine passion for connecting people to the arts because she believes that the arts are transformative for individuals and communities alike.

With a great love for both the visual and performing arts, Jennifer is passionate about serving and uplifting the arts wherever she lives.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Communication from Wichita State University, where she lived and worked for over 12 years.Jennifer Wright Allen’s term on the COCA Board of Directors began in 2022.
