Aris Liatakis

Head Of Credit Risk at CEB - Council of Europe Development Bank

Aris Liatakis, CFA has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Aris started their career at Eurobank in 1997, where they worked in various roles including Retail Banking, Investment Banking, and Local and International Accounts. From 2003 to 2012, they served as a Senior Officer and then Manager in the Workout & Remedial Management department. In 2012, they became the Chief Risk Officer (interim) at Eurobank Srbija for a brief period before transitioning to the Council of Europe Development Bank. At the Council of Europe Development Bank, they held positions in Risk Management and eventually became the Head of Credit Risk in May 2023.

Aris Liatakis, CFA holds an MBA from the University of Stirling. Aris also has a BSc in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Piraeus. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as the OECD Emerging Leaders Programme, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, IMFx Debt Sustainability Analysis, and the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification.
