Clare Thirlway

Clare Thirlway is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant to Appointed Officials at the Council of Europe Development Bank since December 2022, providing executive support to the Governor and Vice-Governors. Previously, Clare held roles at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network as an Assistant to Vice Presidents and Office Manager, and at the International Science Council as Human Resources/Administrative Manager and Personal Assistant to the Executive Director. Additional experience includes positions as a Talent Management Consultant and Trainer at SHL, Recruitment Consultant at Cybersearch Consulting, English Language Trainer at the International Language Centre and Birdwell Institute, Auditions Manager/Assistant to the Head of Music at Welsh National Opera, and Assistant to the Director at English Touring Opera. Clare holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Bristol and an MBA in International Business from ESCP Business School.
