Marc Karimzadeh began their work experience in 2005 at Women's Wear Daily as a Designer Sportswear Editor. Marc then worked at Women's Wear Daily/Conde Nast Publications from 2011 to 2015 as a Fashion Features Editor. In 2015, they joined the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as an Editorial and Communications Director.

Marc Karimzadeh attended Brown University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Comparative Literature. Marc then went on to study at King's College London from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth).
