Titilayo Ufomata has an extensive work experience in the education sector. Titilayo currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Academic Programs at the Council of Independent Colleges. Prior to this role, they served as the Provost and Senior Vice President at Saint Mary's College from 2019 to 2022. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Special Advisor to the President and Board of Trustees, Provost, and Dean of Faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 2012 to 2018. Titilayo also worked at Kentucky State University as a Distinguished Professor and Associate Provost, specializing in Speech and Communication, from 1998 to 2012.
Titilayo Ufomata's education history includes a Master's Degree in Phonetics from UCL, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Phonetics, also from UCL. Before attending UCL, Titilayo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Ibadan. Titilayo later went on to pursue a Master's Degree in the same field at the University of Ibadan as well.
