Nathan Murphy

Nathan Murphy is currently the Government Relations and Public Policy Coordinator at Council of Michigan Foundations, where Nathan works with members on advocacy roles, educates decision makers on philanthropy issues, and highlights member work. Prior to this, Nathan worked as the State Director at Environment Michigan, conducting legislative and campaign work, building relationships with press and public, and fundraising. With previous experience as a Legislative Assistant and Legislative Director in political offices, Nathan brings with him a wealth of experience in policy development and constituent services. Nathan's academic background includes a MSES and PhD in Environmental Science and Ecology from Michigan State University and Indiana University Bloomington.
