Dayana Fraser

Dayana Fraser has an extensive work experience in communications and marketing roles. Dayana is currently the Director of Communications at the Council of Ontario Universities, where they lead a team of professionals and develops strategic campaigns and content. Prior to this, Dayana worked as a Communications Manager at the same organization, responsible for managing comprehensive communications plans and providing strategic advice. Dayana also worked as a Senior Communications Officer at the Council of Ontario Universities. Before joining the Council, Dayana worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at Target Canada, where they designed and implemented communication strategies. Dayana also worked as a Public Relations & Communications Specialist at Randstad Canada, driving innovative communication strategies and fostering relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, Dayana has experience as a Marketing Coordinator at TradeUp Real Estate and a Social Media Specialist at Capsis Media Group. Dayana began their career at Business News Network, where they worked as a Chase Producer/Broadcast Associate/Online Editorial Assistant, developing show concepts and conducting interviews.

Dayana Fraser attended Carleton University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Dayana also pursued a minor in English Literature during their time there.
