Jane Deasy

Jane Deasy is a Principal Linguistic Administrator at the Council of the European Union, working as a translator and reviser of texts into English from multiple languages. Jane also has experience as a Communications Officer and Human Resources Administrator within the same organization. Prior to this, Jane worked in various roles including as a Permanent Selection Board Member at EU Careers by EPSO, English-language translator at Schengen Secretariat, and as a Teacher of English for Business Purposes at the University of Technology Sydney. Jane holds a Diploma in Marketing from CIM, UK, a Masters in Translation Studies from Dublin City University, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and German & Higher Diploma in Education from University College Cork.
