Liliana Musetan

Liliana Musetan is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Unit at the Council of the European Union since July 2021. With a career spanning over two decades, Musetan has held various significant roles within the European Commission, including IT Security Risk Management Programme Manager, Deputy Head of Unit, and Planning and Programming Officer. Previous experiences include positions as Regional IT Officer at the European External Action Service and Administrative Officer at the EC Delegation in Bucharest. Earlier in the career, Musetan contributed to strategic IT initiatives in Romania as Head of IT for the Romanian Government and worked as an Inspector at the Comisia Nationala de Informatica. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and a Bacalaureat in Computer Programming, Maths, and Physics.
