Valentina Polacchi

Valentina Polacchi is a political assistant at the Council of the European Union, specializing in the Directorate-General for General and Institutional Policy as part of the COREPER 2 team since September 2023. Valentina has previous experience as a food systems coordination officer at the International Fund for Agricultural Development, supporting activities related to the Food Systems Summit. Other notable roles include working as a UN volunteer with the UN Global Compact Network Italia, a trainee for the European Parliament, and an intern at various organizations including the Wilmat Development Foundation and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
