Dr. Suparana Katyaini

Dr. Suparana Katyaini PhD currently serves as the Programme Lead for Sustainable Water at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) since May 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Katyaini held the position of Deputy Manager Climate Change and Sustainability at IPE Global Limited from February 2023 to May 2023, and served as Assistant Professor at the School of Livelihoods and Development, Tata Institute of Social Sciences Hyderabad, from July 2020 to January 2023. Additionally, Dr. Katyaini was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from February 2018 to July 2019, focusing on vulnerability to disaster risk and inclusive development. Dr. Katyaini holds a PhD in Ecological Economics with a specialization in Water Resources Governance and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, as well as a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from TERI School of Advanced Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.
