Nikhitha Jagadeesh

Nikhitha Jagadeesh is a Research Analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) since September 2023. Previously, Nikhitha served as a Research Associate at Iora Ecological Solutions and as a Research Intern at the Centre for Wildlife Studies and the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment. Nikhitha's work at Ashoka Trust focused on estimating grazing benefits from grasslands in Baramati, Maharashtra, and involved policy research and analysis. Additional experience includes an internship with the Government of Telangana, focusing on policy analysis and public administration, and a role as a Rural Development Fellow with SBI Youth for India, emphasizing natural resource management and project management. Nikhitha began the professional journey as a Software Engineer at Siemens Healthineers. Nikhitha holds a Master's in Public Policy from Kautilya School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
