Shaikh Wase Khalid

Shaikh Wase Khalid currently serves as Programme Lead at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), focusing on the integration of green economic sectors and clean energy initiatives in India while sharing insights on clean energy with a global audience. Previous roles at CEEW include Programme Associate, where efforts were directed towards large-scale deployment of clean energy technologies and researching sustainable livelihoods. Having started as a Management Trainee at Dharma Life, Shaikh's experience also includes internships and research positions related to sustainable development and refugee initiatives. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Social Work focused on Livelihoods and Social Entrepreneurship from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia.
