Maureen Trantham

Maureen Trantham currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at GiveDirectly and holds the position of Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. Trantham is also a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to these roles, Trantham was Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy and Operations at Sesame Workshop, where responsibilities included strategic planning and overseeing global social impact efforts. An extensive background in management consulting was further developed at Strategy& as Director, focusing on growth strategies and organizational efficiency for Fortune 500 clients. Earlier experiences include leadership roles at TNTP and Partnership for Learning, as well as a stint as an Independent Consultant. Maureen Trantham holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA from the University of Washington.
