Max Boot is a seasoned journalist and expert in national security, currently serving as a columnist for The Washington Post since January 2018. In addition to this role, Max Boot holds the position of Jeane J. Kirkpatrick Senior Fellow for National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations since January 2002. Prior to these appointments, Max Boot was the Editorial Features Editor at The Wall Street Journal from 1994 to 2002. Max Boot earned a Master's degree in History from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
