Jessica Chaparro is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate for Engagement at the Council on Foundations since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading humanitarian disaster response initiatives in collaboration with FEMA and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, managing the Peer Community Platform, and overseeing data management and analysis. Prior to this role, Jessica worked at DePaul University from March 2018 to July 2021 as a Research Project Coordinator and Budget Manager, focusing on human resources liaison work, grant budget management, data analysis, and manuscript writing and editing. Jessica's experience also includes serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Village of Chicago Ridge from April 2016 to March 2018, where tasks involved customer service and financial processing, as well as organizational improvement. Additionally, Jessica has held positions as a Psychology Administrative Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at Butler University, where a Bachelor's degree in Psychology was obtained.
